(Seoul = Freedom Chosun) — On October 25 at 1:30 p.m., students from Freedom University will march from Exit 10 of Dongdaemun Station, passing through Jonggak Station, and proceeding to the memorial altar of the late village head Jeong Hee-chul at Gwanghwamun.
Held under the banner “The Cry of Youth for Freedom,” the demonstration will be led by young people calling for the defense of liberal democracy and the eradication of anti-state forces.

On October 3, around 20,000 Freedom University students marched from Dongdaemun Station to the Gwanghwamun area, chanting slogans such as “We will defend the Republic of Korea!” to express their determination to protect liberal democracy.
Another march followed on October 18, when about 8,000 students marched from Noksapyeong Station to the presidential residence in Hannam-dong.
During those rallies, participants shouted slogans including “Chinese communists, North Korean puppets, and anti-state forces — get out of Korea!” and “Fake president, vacate the office!”
“Freedom Is Never Free ; We Must Fight to Keep It”
The organizers called for large-scale participation, stating, “Only when the youth rise up can the nation survive. Only when freedom-loving citizens stand up can the Republic of Korea live.”
Under the slogan “Freedom is never free — we must fight to keep it,” participants plan to chant:
“Defend the Republic of Korea!”
“Election fraud is treason — fake president, step down!”
“Eradicate Chinese communists, North Korean puppets, and anti-state forces!”
“The Greedy Cartel Regime Will Face the Judgment of History”
The demonstrators declared their intent to “eradicate pro-China traitors and pro-North Korea sympathizers” and to “bring an end to the greedy cartel regime of incompetence and betrayal.”
Organizers said, “The time for the judgment of history has come,” and will also chant slogans such as “Bring Jeong Hee-chul back to life! Defend the Constitution! Reopen the trial! Down with fascist dictatorship!”
